Why iHostio?

iHostio was built by developers, for developers, creators, businesses, and everyday website owners who simply want hosting that works.

Our journey started back in 2013. Like many people, we began on free platforms like Wapka and Blogspot before moving through shared hosting, reseller hosting, VPS servers, and eventually managing our own dedicated bare-metal infrastructure.

Over the last 13 years, we have worked on and collaborated in the development of more than 1,200 websites across different industries and projects. During that time, we experienced the good, the bad, and the frustrating side of web hosting firsthand.

We used many of the major hosting providers — from shared hosting platforms to large cloud providers — but kept running into the same problems: complicated pricing, bloated dashboards, poor support experiences, inconsistent performance, and too much marketing jargon.

That frustration led to the creation of iHostio.

We spent over 12 months building the first version of the platform with one clear philosophy: hosting should be simple, scalable, reliable, production-ready, affordable, and highly automated — without unnecessary buzzwords or hidden complexity.

Today, our infrastructure runs on virtual machines hosted on leased bare-metal servers located in Denmark, powered by reliable and eco-friendly solar energy sources.

At the end of the day, we are still engineers and website builders ourselves. We built iHostio to be the kind of hosting platform we wished we had years ago — fast, transparent, dependable, and genuinely easy to use.
